What Deals Boss does

We make free apps. The first is foen, a video phone that runs in the browser with no account and no charge. Free apps still cost money to run, and we pay for them with advertising we control ourselves.

Deals Boss is the part that chooses the promotions, hosts the banners and runs the links. No advertising network's code runs inside our apps. A banner is an image we host and a link we picked, and that is all it is.

How it works

An app we make shows a banner on its idle screen, never in the middle of what you are doing.
The banner is hosted by us. Nothing is fetched from an advertiser, and nothing watches you.
If you tap it, you arrive at the merchant's own site, or at a Deals Boss page that explains the offer first.
If you buy, the merchant pays us a commission. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway.

How we choose offers

An offer is chosen because it suits the people using the app it appears in, not because it pays the most.
We prefer merchants whose product we have used or can vouch for.
We count how many times each banner was shown and tapped, as plain numbers with nothing attached to them.
An offer that draws complaints is removed.

What we do not do

No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, no profiles.
No selling or sharing of anything about you, because we hold nothing about you.
No advertising during a call or in the middle of a task.
No third-party ad code, ever, in any app we make.

Links on our pages and in our apps may be affiliate links. When you buy through one, the merchant pays Deals Boss a commission and the price to you is unchanged. We say so wherever it applies. Deals Boss takes part in affiliate programmes run by merchants and by networks that connect merchants with sites like this one.
